SSO Sync Integration Steps: Clever
Step-By-Step
Add MagicSchool in Clever: Navigate to your Clever Dashboard > Applications > Add Applications page.
Search for and add the MagicSchool app.
For launch date: Note that MagicSchool can enable your SSO connection within 3 business days.
Once you've made the appropriate selections, select Send integration request to submit the request to the application provider.
MagicSchool will approve your request (within 1-3 business days, usually less!)
Once the connection is approved, Set Sharing Permissions: As outlined in this Clever Guide, set sharing permissions to determine which schools, teachers and students to share with MagicSchool.
We recommend that MagicSchool be available to all staff and teachers.
To enable Student SSO, ensure that your sharing permissions include students!

Once your Clever setup is completed, fill out MagicSchool's Onboarding Form.
It typically takes MagicSchool 1-3 business days to complete the setup once your Clever setup is completed and you've finished the onboarding form.

SSO Sync Integration Steps: ClassLink
Instructions for setting up ClassLink integration with MagicSchool
Overview: You connect ClassLink with MagicSchool by logging into your ClassLink account. You must be a ClassLink administrator for your district. There are two primary steps: First, you'll add MagicSchool as an app via the ClassLink Roster Server so that your user data is shared with MagicSchool. Second, you'll add MagicSchool as an App in your App Library so that your users can sign in with one click!
Step-By-Step
Share data with MagicSchool: Add MagicSchool as an App on the Classlink Roster Server so user data is shared with MagicSchool.
Roster Server → Apps → + Add → search for "MagicSchool"
Select Permissions Type: Rule-Based or Full Permissions
Use rules to identify users to share with MagicSchool.
To enable Staff access, share all eligible staff (we encourage sharing administrators, front- and back-office staff, everyone!)
To enable Student SSO, share students.
Let Users Access MagicSchool: Add MagicSchool as an App on the Classlink Management Console so your users can log in to MagicSchool with one click.
Add MagicSchool: Classlink Management Console → Applications → Add & Assign Apps → App Library → Search for "MagicSchool" OAuth2 → Click Add on "MagicSchool" OAuth2
Assign MagicSchool: App Library → Search MagicSchool → Assign App → Assign MagicSchool to your users
