When MagicSchool launched the Learning Outcomes Module in January 2026, Enterprise partners received unlimited preview access through June 30, 2026. This article explains what happens at the end of that preview period and what it means for your district.
What is changing?
The preview period ends on June 30, 2026. Starting July 1, 2026, access to Learning Outcomes features will depend on whether your district has purchased the Learning Outcomes Module add-on.
What are the access levels?
Districts that purchase the add-on will have unlimited access to all Learning Outcomes features, including Class Writing Feedback and Quizzes, with no change from the preview experience.
Districts without the add-on will move to standard access: each teacher receives 3 Class Writing Feedback assignments and 3 Quizzes per year. This quota resets on July 1 each year.
How does my district purchase the add-on?
Org Admins can contact their MagicSchool Customer Success Manager, who can provide pricing details and help complete the purchase process.
I'm a teacher — what should I do?
If you rely on Class Writing Feedback or Quizzes regularly, let your district administrator know that keeping full access matters to your classroom. Purchasing decisions are made at the district level by Org Admins.
What happens if my district purchases after July 1?
As soon as your district's purchase is processed, full access is restored. Keep in mind that any usage that occurred under standard access limits after July 1 counts toward your annual quota and does not reset at the time of purchase.
