🚀 How to Create a Student Room
Open MagicStudent and select Rooms
Click "MagicStudent" in the left navigation panel and select "Rooms" from the dropdown.
Select "Create Room"
Click the "Create Room" button located in the upper right-hand corner.
Pick and Customize Your Tools
Choose the tools you want to include in the room. You can select multiple instances of the same tool, up to a maximum of 10 tools per room. Customize each tool to fit your activity or learning objective.
✅ Best practice: If you plan to use a customized tool again, save it before moving on. You can save it as a template from the tool itself by clicking "Save As Template," or build and save a Custom Student Tool from scratch. Either way, your saved tools can be reused across multiple rooms.
Click "Save to Room"
Once you are done adding and customizing the tools in your room, save the tools to the room.
Name the Room and Save
Decide on a name for the room, add a description if you choose to, and then click "Save Room."
Share Your Room with Students
Provide students with the Join URL, post the room link in Google Classroom, or share a QR code or join code. Students do not need a MagicSchool account to join — they just need the link.
Sit back and watch the magic unfold! ✨
Once students join, you can monitor their activity and conversations in real time from your MagicStudent dashboard.
