Yes. You can share Student Rooms with other teachers. When the share link is used, the recipient receives a copy of the room settings, including tools and customizations, as they were at the time of sharing.
📝 Note: Sharing a room does not include student data, co-teachers, or any other account-specific information. The recipient gets a clean copy of the room structure only.
⚠️ Important: Co-teachers cannot share or delete a room. Only the room owner can share a room template. If a co-teacher needs to share the room, they should contact the room owner to make changes.
⚙️ How to Share a Room Template
Click the three vertical dots
Located at the end of the row for the room you want to share, on the Rooms list page.
Select "Share Template"
Change the access setting
Switch from Private to Public (anyone with the link) or Org Only (teachers in your organization only).
Click "Copy Link"
Share the link with others
💡 Tip: Use Org Only to keep sharing within your district. Public makes the room template accessible to any MagicSchool user with the link.
