Teachers can now generate images directly in the follow-up chat of any teacher tool, as well as in Raina and CWF/Quiz Insights chats. Ask for an image right where you're working and get one — no need to leave your current tool or navigate somewhere else.
Because the image is generated inside your conversation, MagicSchool already knows the context: the subject, the grade level, and what you are working on. That context helps produce visuals that fit your classroom, not just your prompt.
The standalone Image Generator tool in Teacher Tools is still available for when you want to start with image generation directly.
📍 Where You Can Generate Images
Any teacher tool follow-up chat: After running any tool, ask for an image in the follow-up chat and it appears right there in the conversation.
Raina: Ask for an image at any point in your Raina conversation. Raina already knows your context — subject, grade level, and what you're working on — so it can produce visuals that fit without extra explanation.
Class Writing Feedback/Quiz Insights chats: Generate images within these specialized chats the same way you would in any other tool.
⚙️ How It Works
Ask for an image wherever you're working. Use plain language — for example, "create a simple illustration of the water cycle for my 4th graders" or "generate an image of a market scene to go with this reading passage."
Your request is prepared. Behind the scenes, your request is checked and refined so the generated image is classroom-safe and appropriate for the grade level you are working with.
Your image appears in the thread. The generated image shows up directly in the conversation alongside the response.
Refine with follow-ups. If the image is not quite right, just ask. You can request changes like "make it simpler," "use a more realistic style," or "show the labels in Spanish."
Use it in your materials. Download the image or copy and paste it into your slides, worksheets, or other classroom materials. Images stay visible in your chat history so you can come back to them later.

Image generation is designed for classroom-ready visuals, including:

🔒 How Does MagicSchool Keep Generated Images Safe?
Safety checks run on every image request, every time:
Your request is reviewed before any image is generated, and refined into classroom-safe, grade-appropriate language.
Every generated image is reviewed again before it is shown to you. Images that do not meet our safety standards are blocked.
Stricter rules apply automatically for sensitive subjects.
⚠️ Important: These protections are built into the feature and cannot be turned off.
👤 Who Has Access?
Image generation is available to educators on all plans, with generation limits that vary by plan:

MagicSchool Plus | 25 images per week | Weekly limit resets each week |
Enterprise | 100 images per day | Daily limit resets on a rolling 24-hour basis |
Image edits count toward the same limit as new generations. If you reach your limit, you will see a message letting you know when it resets.
📝 Note: For Enterprise organizations, image generation is on by default. If your organization would like it turned off, your administrator can contact your MagicSchool representative or our support team.
⚠️ Important: Image generation is not available to students. This is an educator-only feature.

Does this replace the Adobe Express Tool?
No. The standalone Adobe Express tool is still available in Teacher Tools. Image generation in follow-up chats is an additional way to create visuals right where you're working — without needing to navigate back to a separate tool.
Can I generate images in any teacher tool?
Yes. Image generation is available in the follow-up chat of any teacher tool, as well as in Raina and the CWF/Quiz Insights chats.
Can I edit an image after it is generated?
You can ask for changes in the same thread, such as adjusting the style, simplifying the content, or changing details. Each request generates a new version of the image.
Can I save or download the images?
Yes. You can download generated images or copy and paste them into slides, documents, and other materials. Images also remain in your chat history.
Can students generate images?
No. Image generation is available to educators only and is not accessible to students.
What if an image does not look right?
Image models can sometimes produce imperfect results, especially with text inside images or fine details. If an image is not usable, try rephrasing your request or asking for a specific adjustment.
Can I generate images in other languages?
Yes. You can make your request in your preferred language, and MagicSchool supports multilingual image requests.
