LaTeX formatting does not carry over when exporting to Google Forms. This is a limitation of Google Forms itself — it does not support LaTeX or rendered math equations.

Screenshot the question
Take a screenshot of the rendered question with its formatting intact.
Upload the image into Google Forms
Add the screenshot as an image to the corresponding question in your form.
Use A, B, C, D as your answer choices
Since the answer options are shown in the image, you can list A, B, C, D as the answer choices in the form. Students will reference the image to see what each letter corresponds to.
💡 Tip: This workaround is most practical for multiple choice questions. For open-response questions with LaTeX, consider sharing the Google Doc directly with students instead of using Forms.
