My Resources is your personal content library inside MagicSchool. It's where you can save, organize, and reuse everything you create or upload — all in one place. My Resources is accessible from the primary navigation bar.

📝 Note: Files saved in My Resources can be attached directly in Raina without re-uploading from your computer. This is currently only available in Raina — other tools require uploading directly from your device.

📁 What You Can Save

My Resources supports three types of content:

Type	What it includes
Generated responses	Individual outputs saved from Raina or other MagicSchool tools
Artifacts	Studio documents, presentations, worksheets, and other materials created in MagicSchool
Uploaded files	PDFs you've uploaded to MagicSchool (more file formats coming soon)

Each resource displays a clear icon and label so you can identify content at a glance.

🔍 Finding Your Resources

Search: Use the search bar to find any saved resource by name across your entire library.

Filter: Narrow your view by resource type — such as Artifact, Upload, or Response — to quickly find what you're looking for.

Sort: The resource table shows the name, type, and last updated date for each item so you can keep track of what's current.

👁️ Previewing Resources

You can preview artifacts, uploaded files, and images directly inside My Resources without opening them in a separate tool. No extra steps needed to take a quick look at something before using it.

To edit an artifact, select "Edit." This opens the item in Studio where you can make changes.

🔗 Using Files from My Resources in Raina

Files saved in My Resources can be attached directly inside Raina without re-uploading from your computer. When chatting with Raina, select the attachment option and choose from your saved files.

📝 Note: File attachment from My Resources is currently available in Raina only. Other tools require uploading directly from your device.

🗑️ Removing and Deleting Resources

There are two distinct actions for managing items in your library:

Remove from My Resources — This removes the item from your library view but does not permanently delete it. The underlying content is preserved.
Delete — This permanently removes an item. A confirmation prompt appears before deletion to prevent accidental loss.

⚠️ Important: In My Resources, you can only remove items — not permanently delete them. However, if you remove an uploaded file, it will no longer be available anywhere else in MagicSchool. If you want to keep access to an uploaded file, do not remove it from your library.

Where do I find My Resources?

My Resources is in the primary navigation bar — the same menu you use to access tools and other parts of MagicSchool. It's available from anywhere in the platform.

Will My Resources replace the old Resource Library?

Yes. My Resources is a redesign of the previous Resource Library, with expanded content types, search and filtering, and artifact previewing built in.

What file types can I upload?

PDFs are supported right now. Additional file formats are coming soon.

Can I use the same file in multiple tools?

Yes. Once a file is saved in My Resources, you can reference it across any tool or workflow in MagicSchool without re-uploading it from your computer.

What happens if I remove an uploaded file?

Removing an uploaded file from My Resources permanently removes your access to it across the platform. The Remove action for other resource types — like generated responses and artifacts — preserves the underlying content. But for uploaded files, removing means it won't be available elsewhere. If in doubt, leave it in your library.
