Your teacher will share one of the following: a join URL, a Google Classroom assignment, a join code, or a QR code. Use whichever method your teacher provides to access your room. You will be prompted to sign in. If your school has SSO set up for students, you will sign in via SSO when prompted.

Once you are in your room, you will see the Use MagicSchool Responsibly page. Once you read and acknowledge it, you will see the tools your teacher has set up for you.

Without SSO: You can rejoin your room at any time using the rejoin link your teacher provided.
With SSO (Clever or ClassLink): Log in via your school portal to view your previously joined rooms.
When you come back, you will be able to see your previous conversations and outputs. Your work is saved automatically — you do not need to download or export anything to keep it.

Your teacher can see everything you write in MagicSchool. Be thoughtful about what you share.
The AI will not write your essay, answer your test questions, or do assignments for you — it is built to help you think, not to think for you.

This usually means you are logged into a personal Google or Microsoft account instead of your school account. Sign out and sign back in using your school email address, then try the link again.
I can't find my teacher's link. Who do I ask?
Ask your teacher directly. They can reshare the link or tell you where to find it.
My output disappeared. Is it gone?
Your work is saved to your account. Sign back in with your school email and use your unique rejoin link to return to your room — your previous sessions should still be there.
Can I use MagicSchool on my phone or tablet?
Yes. MagicSchool works in any modern web browser, including on mobile devices. Use the link or code your teacher shared to get started.
