If a student logs back in using the original join code or room link, they will begin a new session — their previous output history will not be accessible that way.
To rejoin the same session and access their output history, a student needs their unique personal join link. This link is specific to each student and is different from the general room link.

Open the room
Find the student's name in the room
Click the three vertical dots under "Actions"
These are located at the end of the student's row.
Select "Student Join Info"
This will display the student's unique join link, which you can share directly with them.
💡 Tip: Share this link with the student via email, your LMS, or any messaging platform. Once they use it to log back in, they will be returned to their previous session and can access their output history.
📝 Note: The unique student join link is the only way for non-SSO students to rejoin their original session.

If your school or district has a partnership with MagicSchool and uses SSO, students can rejoin the room and access their output history at any time by logging in through your school's SSO portal — no unique join link needed.
