To invite students into a room:
Open the room you want students to join.
Click the "Invite Students" button in the upper right-hand corner.
A pop-up will appear with three options for sharing. Choose the method that works best for your classroom.

Join URL
Copy a direct link and share it with students however you prefer — paste it into an email, a class message, or your LMS. Students click the link and join the room immediately. No MagicSchool account required.
Google Classroom
Create a Google Classroom assignment that includes the room information. This is the recommended option if your class already uses Google Classroom, as it keeps everything in one place for students.
Join Codes & QR Code
Share a short join code that students can enter at app.magicschool.ai, or display the QR code for students to scan with a mobile device. Great for in-person classroom use.
📝 Note: Please be sure to comply with your local school and district policies when using AI with students.
✅ Best practice: For most classrooms, posting the Join URL in Google Classroom or your LMS is the fastest way to get students into their room. If you are doing a quick in-class activity, the QR code is a great option for getting everyone in at once.
