If MagicSchool is loading slowly, tools are not generating, or you are receiving unexpected errors, the first step is to check whether there is a known issue affecting the platform. MagicSchool maintains a live status page that shows the current health of all platform services.
🔍 How to Check App Status
Visit status.magicschool.ai in your browser.
Review the current status of each service. If all systems are operational, the page will show green indicators across the board.
If an incident is in progress, you will see a yellow (degraded) or red (outage) indicator along with a description of the issue and any updates from the MagicSchool team.
Scroll down to view the incident history, including resolved issues and past maintenance windows.
🚦 What the Status Indicators Mean
🟢 Operational — all services are functioning normally.
🟡 Degraded — some services are experiencing issues but are still available.
🔴 Downtime — a service is unavailable.
💡 If the Status Page Shows All Systems Operational
If MagicSchool's status page shows no active incidents but you are still experiencing issues, the problem may be specific to your device, browser, or network. Try the following:
Clear your browser cache — see the Help Center article "How to clear cache in different browsers" for steps.
Try a different browser or incognito/private window.
Try a different network (e.g., switch from school Wi-Fi to a mobile hotspot) to rule out a network or firewall issue.
Check that the required MagicSchool URLs are whitelisted on your school's network — see the "Whitelisted Websites" article for the full list.
If the issue persists, contact support at [email protected] with a description of what you are seeing, which browser and device you are using, and any error messages displayed on screen
